Matthew Adams owns and operates the largest insurance agency in Alaska exclusively working with ministries, missions, and non-profit (religious and other) around the state. He has spent over 30 years serving the local church body primarily in worship and support ministry. Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Matthew enjoys most everything the Alaska outdoors offer (in addition to his love for playing golf). Matthew’s heart is for the unity and support of the Body of Christ in America beginning with Alaska. “As a kid, I always enjoyed going to VBS. I often wondered however, why we didn’t get to have VBS with the other 2 churches in town (hometown population of 400 ). My first disappointment and confusion in what the Lord was about came with a mostly innocent answer to my questions: because they don’t believe the same way we do. It broke my 12-year-old, newly baptized heart and became the root of a variety of confusing moments in my Christian walk. “I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one – I in them and you in me – so that they may be brought to complete unity, THEN the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” -John 17: 23-24

It is with great sorrow and profound respect that we honor the life and the legacy of Tracy Hodges. For nearly four decades, Tracy poured into the hearts of people within Alaska. Filled with deep compassion and unwavering faith, Tracy helped to bring hope to the hurting and broken. Tracy’s legacy will live on through the churches he strengthened, the leaders he mentored, and the families he ministered to. We honor his memory by carrying forward the work he started—bringing the light and hope of Christ to every corner of Alaska.
